Considered one of the most popular, secure, fastest and versatile browsers, it is compatible with several operating systems and all of the current web standards, and is updated very regularly. It has a built in version of Flash player and compatible with a wide range of formats and documents out-of-the-box (PDF, Word, HTML5, etc). Even more functionality can be added by installing Chrome extensions.

Malwarebytes Chameleon
Some malware may prevent or block Malwarebytes Anti-Malware from even installing by blocking the installation process from starting, or even from from accessing the internet to download it in the first place. Installing Chameleon circumvents this problem and will allow it to be installed by masking the install process as a commonly used application, such as Internet Explorer or Chrome. This is simply a tool to get Malwarebytes Anti-Malware installed, so it is free to use.

Windows Defender
Microsoft Security Essentials (also known as Windows Defender) is Microsoft's anti-malware solution. Built into Windows 8 and newer versions of Windows, it has an effective real-time protection engine and regularly updated definitions updated automatically through Windows Update. Very light on system resources and already deeply integrated into the operating system, it is a great alternative to expensive and bloated security suites.
It is compatible with Windows XP and above.
